Dedicated community members become star-studded dancers for this annual gala soirée. Celebrity judges are on hand to help guide the audience voting as these brave individuals dance as cancer survivors, or in honour of those affected by cancer.
Having rehearsed and been teamed with professional choreographers, they take to the floor and vie for the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy to provide the ultimate highlight to the night’s fundraising activities. They dance to a live band of Canada’s finest musicians and singers ~ led by the incomparable Brigham Phillips ~ which makes this a truly unique event.
Guests arrive to the sound of elegant cocktail music which underscores the “chance to dance” with a special someone before dinner or for mixing and mingling in the gorgeous ballroom.
Le Dome will serve a sumptuous farm-to-table 4 course meal and guests can enjoy a premium cash bar, ‘fun-raising’ games, live music and fabulous gifts and prizes throughout the evening.
Proceeds will directly benefit Be Brave and Believe and are in support of Trillium Health Partners’ Compassionate Care Fund in memory of Christine Glen-Coussée.
